Uniform

If your child is new to the dance class, for the first few weeks, please bring them in any clothes that are easy to move in e.g. leggings and a t-shirt. They may be asked to dance in bare feet for ballet and modern-jazz, and to dance in their school shoes for tap. The uniform details are below, which your child will need after she/he has had 2-3 weeks to settle in.

Ballet Uniform A

Minis, Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet

Sky blue leotard
Sky blue skirt
pink leather, full soled ballet shoes (please note that these come up one shoe size smaller than regular shoe sizes. So if you are a size 1 for example order a size 2.)
Pink ballet socks OR tights - only ballet socks to be worn for exams
Optional warm ups - sky blue ballet cardigan or DD onesie
Hair should be neatly tied back, or even better in a ballet bun

Grade 1, 2 and 3 Ballet

Sky blue leotard
Sky blue skirt
Pink leather, full soled ballet shoes (please note that these come up one shoe size smaller than regular shoe sizes. So if you are a size 1 for example order a size 2.)
Convertible pink ballet tights
Optional warm ups - sky blue ballet cardigan or DD onesie
Hair should be in a classical ballet bun with a bun net and pins. Very short hair should be styled off the face with either a sky blue head band or clips

Grade 4, 5 and 6 Ballet

Black 1st position Angela leotard
Pink canvas, split soled ballet shoes (please note that these come up one shoe size smaller than regular shoe sizes. So if you are a size 1 for example order a size 2.)
Convertible pink tights
Optional warm ups - sky blue ballet cardigan or DD onesie
Hair should be in a classical ballet with a bun net and pins. Very short hair should be styled off the face.

Black, full soled tap shoes with ball and heel taps attached - Two eyelet lace up for Minis - primary, grade 1 and 2.
Black, full soled tap shoes with ball and heels attached - 4 eyelet lace up for grade 3 and upwards
Optional warm ups - sky blue cardigan or DD zoody or DD onesie
Hair should be neatly tied back, or even better in a ballet bun. Very short hair should be styled off the face with either a sky blue head band or clips.

Grade 4

Indigo Alice cap sleeved leotard
Black footless tights with no seams

Additional uniform for Tap

For modern dance go bare foot or wear foot undeez - (unless for medical reasons they need to wear protection on feet - jazz or ballet shoes)
